As part of the Metropolitan Collection, Oxidian celebrates the industrial aesthetic of patina and the tactile experience of touch. Caesarstone has innovated a dark grey base with true depth, thanks to Caesarstone’s new Natural Finish, which presents a slightly textured grain that consumers can truly feel. Tarnished with an oxidized russet effect that is distributed unevenly, just like real rust, Caesarstone offers a trend-savvy aged surface, yet maintains the practical durability and easy care associated with all its products.
At home in urban apartments and residences, Oxidian is equally suited to hospitality, bringing a metallic presence to restaurants, bars and hotels. There, Oxidian combines well with other industrial materials like concrete and lumber, ideally complemented by gunmetal or black cabinetry, and with brushed steel or copper hardware. The kitchen space is finished with dark wooden floors, ceramics and upholstery, leading the new dark kitchen trend that is taking the design world by storm: swapping the former minimalism of light colours for the deeper emotion found in shadowy blacks. Room remains for shots of colour, however – be it shades of yellow, red or olive green – brightening up the interior for those who seek it.
